This just screamed male fantasy/unreal feminine female dream ladybot to me. So very very not for me. Utterly cliche, fanfiction-esque, and the worst of the gender binary. Let's just hit that fragile masculinity on the overblown descriptors, shall we? I'm so blah about this thing, my sentences are fragmenting. Shudder.

"His long, elegant fingers could draw anything on which his eyes might rest, or run along the length of her body, playing with every bit of her and bringing her pleasure that she could never have imagined possible, only for it to be exceeded by the ecstasy that the most thrilling, powerful part of him could bring." G00d greef.

I guess I learned you can attract your love-at-first-sight by wiggling your tush. The plot twist is bees?

Just, woof, this was bad.

And then I read the last page (Saffron setting up a bomb) and ha, this writer could have sucked me in if he'd started there. But there's no denying what this book is, so yeah. *Panic moonwalks away*
