This book helped me out of a really dark time in my life. The real mess of this book gave me a hope where I was in fear of the future.
Told through Miss America’s perspective, it gave me the sense that not only am I not alone, but I am enough. It gave me a new point of view that those who seemingly have it all and the confidence, isn’t always true.
Everything about this book gave me hope, strength, and a new look on Gods view of my life and His promises/thoughts on me as a person.

Looking at Debbyes life as she navigates so much: pageant life, broadcasting, finding a husband and her family was told so beautifully in the memoir. Turning her “Fear” into “Faith” was told so beautifully. I can only hope that those in need find this read. I highly recommend it.
