This book definitely isn’t for me. Just by glancing at the cover, I’d assume this is a self-help book or something that is going to feel preachy. The first introduction to the book is being curled up on the floor l, sobbing, because they lost a beauty pageant, and it felt a little cringe. That being said, the writing is exceptional and I can absolutely see this doing well with its target audience, that just isn’t me.
