This book is a combination of self help and memoir, telling of Dr. Debbye's experiences of failure, and how she overcame from a Christian perspective. Some might be turned off by her seemingly trivial goals (winning the Ms. Arkansas pageant) but her principals remain the same, regardless of what your goal is. I think this is a fabulous book that will help others in the position of wanting something. We all want SOMETHING out of life, right? This just helps us make it there.
