I can say that I have never read a book with the main character as a firefighter. I am surprised it wasn’t something I second guessed clicking on. I have to say that I am pretty impressed with how much I want to keep reading this book. It captured my attention pretty quickly with a little humor between Anne and Danny. Now I am very curious.. what is going to happen to Anne? Is someone going to find her before she runs out of oxygen? Is she going to be able to continue to fight fires? Will any of this affect her “thing” with Danny? Will they question her judgement since she did not stick with her partner? What will her “by-the-book” chief think? I have so many questions! This is a must read!
