I have never read the Black Dagger Brotherhood by JR Ward, but have heard great things about it. That is what piqued my interested in Consumed. Overall, I felt the first impression was just OK. It was short, so there isn't a ton to go on. I can't tell for sure if it will be romance or a mystery/suspense or both. In general, I am interested in the story and would read it if I received a copy...but I likely wouldn't seek it out on my own from the short excerpt I read alone.
