This story seems like it will have some interesting characters- we don't get the perspective of a female firefighter that often!- and like it might be steamy (both in the fire and out). It says it's a mystery/thriller, but the book doesn't start off with that part of the story, so it will be exciting to read what happens next. I haven't read anything by this author before (her long series seems intimidating!), so the start of a new series seems like a great place to begin!
