I like the cover- it's dark, intense, and the red conveys the feeling of a hot flame. If I'd had access to more than the first chapter, I would have kept reading to find out what happened next. Anne definitely has some "stuff" that's referenced and it's nice to get an early look at Danny. The first chapter ends with a bad decision and a cliffhanger. I'm looking forward to seeing how both the overall story and Anne and Danny's relationship progresses.
