This seems like a fun, tense book, lead by a female protagonist with a layered backstory. I might pick up a copy and read the rest if I saw it at the library or on sale at a bookstore, but the preview didn't end on a cliffhanger, so the immediate need to go learn more isn't there. The cover art is pretty, but not something that is going to drive me to pick it up in the bookstore. In the end, there's nothing off-putting about the book, but not too much of a hook either.
