I absolutely LOVE mythology retellings and was so excited when i came across this book. It drew me in from the gorgeous artwork on the cover and the description just sealed the deal. I’ve never read a story about Clytemnestra but after reading the preview i just know i am going to love this book. I love that from the first chapter we can already see what a wild and fierce character our girl will be and i am stuck on the edge of my seat now waiting to see what this book holds. I love independent characters that take the story and shape it themselves and can already see Clytemnestra being one of those. Seeing this book also being compared to Madeline Miller’s Circe is wonderful because i really enjoyed my experience with that book and would love to come away from this with another favorite greek mythology retelling. I really can’t get enough of them.
