Clytemnestra is a great read based in Ancient Greece. I'm usually over the Greek mythology and retellings that have been looding the book market these days. However, I really enjoyed this one as to me it's different and stands out from the others. The story is about a woman, Clyemnestra. She married a King who's ruthless. He only cares for himself and pleasing the Gods to maintain his status and power as King. Clytemnestra bides her time. She's intelligent and calculating as she observes and plans before she takes action, thinking of all possible outcomes and staying ahead of all of them. She does not hold back and is a force to be reckoned with. This story really drew me in from beginning to end. I thought it was a great read. The cover convey's the book and story very well I think. I gave the book a 4 out of 5. It's a wonderful book with dark elements, but it didn't invoke the feels for me.
