I had never heard of Clytemnestra before. I had no idea who she was or how she fit into Greek history. I remember learning Greek mythology in school and I loved it so much. It's so fun and fascinating to read about. I haven't read anything Greek related since Middle School and didn't know how I would feel about it now, but I loved this book. Constanza Casati did such a great job. She is a great writer and I could picture everything she wrote about. The castles, the cities, the people, she described everything thoroughly. Clytemnestra's story is tragic, but she is such a tough woman. She's smart and cunning and incredibly tough. I loved that this book included the Trojan war, which I did know about, but gave us a story that was not directly about the Trojan war. I hope Constanza Casati writes more because I would love to dive into Greek history more.
