Full disclosure: I am not familiar with either Circe or Cersei Lannister (I have Circe on my TBR but haven't made it there yet, and I had to look up Lannister). I'm not overtly a fan of retellings, especially when I am fond of the original. But: the First Look for Clytemnestra caught my eye and sucked me in straight away. As soon as I opened the file, I became engaged and inspired by Clytemnestra's strength and grit. I want to keep reading. So I'm going to call this one a win! I love it when books reach in there past my preconceived notions and grab me and say "You WILL enjoy me!"
