What a phenomenal story about a phenomenal woman. Fans of The Tattooist will absolutely fall in love with Cilka and her bravery. It's terrible that women like her had to suffer so much, but her strength and perseverance shown through the beautiful writing by Morris. In a time where WWII historical fiction stories are a dime a dozen, Cilka’s Journey stands out as unique and inspiring. The research that went into the follow up to the Tattooist of Auschwitz made this story just as compelling as Heather Morris’s first book. I hope everyone gets a chance to read this incredible story about some amazing women and how they stay strong in the absolute hardest of times. I can’t say enough praises about this story!
