I am loving that so many authors are writing about the war. They are telling the stories of what many people went through. The authors are bringing light to a horrible time in history. The way this author is writing is absolutely beautiful.
I am eager to learn more about Cilkas journey. I’m wanting to read more about her new found friendship with Josie. I am also interested in reading about her new job in the administration building.
My heart also breaks as I read about the horrors so so many people went through. It is hard to read that even after the war was “over” that so many we still sent back to basically the same kind of camps due to lies being told about them. How horrific to be made to have sex with the enemy to stay alive just to be punished for it when the camps are liberated.
