Can't wait to read this!
I read and enjoyed "The Tattooist of Auschwitz" by Heather Morris so I can't wait to get a copy of her newest book, "Cilka's Journey".
I'm a big fan of historical fiction and excited to read all about Cilka's story. Cilka has survived World War 2 and the Nazi's in a concentration camp, but that was only the first horror she has to deal with. The Russians charge her with prostitution and is sentenced to a labor camp.
From the first 20 pages, it looks to be a heartbreaking, brave, coming-of-age story that no teenager should ever have to go through. Surviving one hell to go through another, Cilka does what she has to in order to survive. I can't read to read the rest and only hope that Cilka gets a happy ending.
