I enjoy books based on this era. I find it fascinating and terrifying at the same time! I can't even imagine what Cilka had to endure. She seemed to have a better life than others in Auschwitz but it came back to her in punishment. This sounds like an incredibly heartbreaking book! I think it's great for people to read about others in terrible situations. It really gives your own life perspective.
