This isn’t my usual genre in part because it’s so hard to read, emotionally. And this was no exception - the beginning was heart-wrenching, but also felt realistic. And it’s certainly an interesting setup. I won’t be continuing due to personal reading preferences, but I think this will be a great read for those interested in this type of book!
