Horrifyingly compelling read of Female Birkenau Victims

I have long been fascinated with historically-based stories of World War II. This book is no exception. The story is a horrifying one, yet compelling. It is a the story of a beautiful young girl, aged 16, who is survives 3 years in Auchwitz/Birkenau by being repeatedly raped by Nazi officers. She survives until the Russians free the camp. Her reward for surviving? Fifteen years at a labor camp in a Siberian labor camp. Her crime---collaborating with the Nazis. It is a familiar story of women who were once abused by Nazis who then are punished for having been raped and made to sleep with Nazis.
