I really liked the first impression. Awful and horribly sad as it was, it is important to read and know about this period of history. Cilka is a beautifully strong character and I already love her selflessness and resolve. It is amazing how real the words feel, and the fact that this is based on real events and real people make Cilka that much more of an incredible person.
