Cilka's Journey starts off well. Cilka was a prisoner at a Nazi concentration camp, but after they were liberated, it wasn't the end to her troubles. She was convicted of prostitution and spying and then sent to hard labor. I like how this story writes about real struggles that actually happened to people during the post-war period. It wasn't all sunshine and rainbows.
