I have been eagerly awaiting this book since finishing The Tattooist of Auschwitz earlier this year. While reading The Tattooist of Aushchwitz, I found myself eager to learn more about the characters in the book outside of Lale and Gita. I am especially interested in Cilka's story given our current political climate of believing/blaming women for crimes done against them. I look forward to delving further into a character whose story is, unfortunately, just a small piece of the horrible disregards of human rights that occurred during WWII and it's aftermath.
