I love historical fiction and especially when it takes place during WWII. Though there is a lot of sadness, horror, and cruelty surrounding this time period, it usually showcases so much hope.
This story is one I hope to finish. The first look captured me, though I wish it had been written in first person, giving it more of an authentic feel through the character's own eyes.
