Cilka's Journey is a fictional story based on the real-life account of Cecilia Klein. At sixteen, she was sent to Auschwitz; in order to survive, she was forced to sleep with the enemy Nazi solders. When liberated from the concentration camp, the Russians deem her a spy - due to the fact that she knows bits of several languages and because of her means of survival - and send her to a Siberian prison camp. From there, she must learn - again - how to survive.

This book seems interesting so far. I like the morally complex nature of the story and Cilka's life. I would definitely be interesting to read more about her non-fictionalized life. However, I don't like the title - it's too boring (just a side note).
