The cover is symbolic of Cilka's imprisonment at Birkenau. Cilka is now headed to another imprisonment in Siberia. She has become an enemy by default. I want to find out how Cilka survives and overcomes her situation. She seems to be a survivor, yet not coldhearted. Will she become "bitter or better?"
