Cilka is taken to the concentration camp and is singled out due to her beauty. Used and abused by the guards, she must do whatever she can to survive. After the war is over and the remaining people are released from camp, she is once again singled out. She is singled out for something she had little control over. Her circumstances are not her fault, and yet she has to find a new inner strength to move on with her life and try to find who she really is.
