I haven't read The Tatooist, but I imagine this will be similar to the book that do many have recommended to me. The first glimpse promises a story of a young woman forced to grow up and find inner strength, and her subsequent journey to find meaning and joy in life, despite the unfairness of the world. The chapter definitely has me eager to read more.
