Look at the eccentric side of small town life

There were several things that drew me into this book before I even started it. First, the title... what and odd and interesting name. Chronicles of a Radical Hag (with Recipes). The with recipes bit just cracked me up. Next, that interestingly illustrated cover... very eye catching and made me wonder how it would tie into the story. And lastly, the synopsis. I loved the intriguing bits about Haze's time at the paper and what kind of things she covered. I can say once I started the book, that all these interesting elements led me into a very interesting story. Haze definitely seemed like she would of been quite the character. And her columns were interesting reads. The was a quirky story and worth being checked out.
