I recently decided to pick up and read Chronicles of a Radical Hag(with recipes) by Lorna Landvik. I thought it would be something different, a breakaway from the genres and types of novels that I usually find myself reading. And not was it that! I loved this book! I absolutely adored Haze Evans even though I only read about her in last genres And through her articles she wrote for Granite Creek Gazette. The recipes that she included were a lovely and truly witty addition. Fifty years later, when Haze suffers from a stroke and goes into a coma, the papers publisher, Susan McGrath decides to publish Haze's old columns and honey recipes. I loved getting to read Gaza's story through her columns and getting to read Susan's story as a wide and mother as well. The parallel stories really complimented each other. I highly recommend this one!
