A story of how this mother and son's relationship grows as they experience the writings of Haze Evans, otherwise know as the "Radical Hag", who is the town newspaper's columnist, Haze has been writing for the newspaper for over fifty years. She influences the people of the community in many ways, even if they don't agree with her opinion on the topic she is writing about. The characters are lively, delightful and entertaining. The story line is absolutely fantastic. The recipes are a wonderful addition and delightful.
