Right away, I was struck by the realization that I rarely, if ever, read books with an octogenarian narrator. I love Haze, what little of her know at the moment.

I felt as thought I were in a film with a talented ensemble cast, with fast-paced chatter and swirling movement from character to character, where we get to know everyone pretty quickly.

I judged this book by it's cover and I was right. The cover had me at brushstrokes and recipes. It's as if it knows me.
