My first impression is that this book is truly funny. I smiled and laughed my way through the first read. It is also filled with empathy. Even the scary receptionist is given a credible back story that provides the reader with understanding. I cannot wait to read more about Haze and Susan and the many other characters already introduced.

The cover is lovely. The chalkboard lettering drew me to the book. The mixing bowl complements the column with recipes theme and also reminded me of the kettle Shakespeare's hags we're stirring in MacBeth.
