I'm not sure I'd have bothered with this book had I spotted it in a bookstore. I honestly didn't expect to like the storytelling format, but I found the First Impression fun and enjoyable. The story during the current timeline is interspersed with columns from the past. I really enjoyed the banter between the characters. The dialogue is realistic and totally hooked me. The only thing I didn't like was the overuse of points made within parentheses.

I don't know if I could read and enjoy an entire book written in this format, but it definitely seems like a fun read.
