My very first Ali hazlewood book! I absolutely loved it. I feel like the fact that they play chess is super unique because a lot of books now are revolving around hockey, football basically just the same thing over and over and this- this is DIFFERENT and I absolutely love it. I like how they are rivals and end up together in the end because honestly who doesn’t like a book like that! That’s right up

Feeling it the first few chapters if I am being honest. But when I picked it back up because of everyone talking about how good it was- I was confused at how I ever thought it was full because I was like HEY this is actually a really great storyline! I mean the rivalry the banter And everything is just amazing. The male character is it perfect but he’s good and I love the girl!
