I am absolutely smitten with this book!

I am completely and irrevocably head over feet for this new Young-Adult novel from the elusive Ms Ali Hazelwood! This was the best young-adult romance I’ve ever read! The fact that its rivals to lovers and he falls first drew me in immediately and Ms Hazelwood’s character development and storyline/plot kept me invested from the dedication to the very last page! Mallory and Nolan are just completely meant to be! I absolutely adore how Mallory regained the love she once held for playing chess that ultimately almost destroyed her family years ago. And as much as she so desperately tried hating chess and erasing it out of her life, deep down she just couldn’t bare to walk away forever. She rekindles her love for chess and falls in love with Nolan. I loved Ali Hazelwood’s STEM romance series but I’m not going to lie sometimes I felt myself getting lost in the terminology and the science behind them. I didn’t have that problem with this book! I can’t wait to read more from Ali and I truly hope she continues to write more Young Adult non STEM related books! Five Stars across the board!
