I can not decide if I think this is interesting, or a rip off of Queen's Gambit. Being that this is a love story, not a direct rip off. Currently I think it sounds a bit boring. Mainly because it is so bent on how the sport of chess ruined a family. It seems overdramatic. But it could work. It worked for Queens Gambit. So I am interested to give it a try.
