I'm such a big Ali Hazelwood fan, so I was super intrigued when I found out she was going to be coming out with a YA release. You can always count on Hazelwood's writing to be quirky and intelligent, full of loveable characters, and this seems like it'll be no exception. The chess element seems like it'll be fun, and it's something I haven't really seen in romances before. I can already tell I'm going to like the dynamic between our two main characters, Mallory and Nolan, but I have to admit, I am hesitant to see how the romance will develop given that this is YA, but I'm looking forward to finding out.
