I enjoy Ali Hazelwood’s writing style. This book, Check & Mate has a fun cover that really draws you in. I do so enjoy a good enemies to lovers romance. I like the rival game players theme as it gives a stray stream of rival animosity. Add in growing attraction and emotion and you’re set for a compelling story.
