I was interested in Mallory from the prologue when she was watching a video about Nolan. I’m really interested in why she stopped playing chess and what happened to her father. It’s interesting to see how Mallory has pushed aside her future to take care of her sisters and mom. I enjoy the Mallory and Easton friendship. I like how Mallory’s mind just automatically went back to being crazy hood at chess to beat Nolan. I’m interested to see how the story progresses.
