Ali Hazelwood has a penchant for sparking interest in subjects that are less "popular" with witty, fun characters. I can already tell by the first loon that I'm going to thoroughly enjoy Mal's character as she navigates this new offer that came about by accident. Even being YA the story lends itself to more adult content and dealing with past issues (based on Mal's reluctance to play chess and mentions of her dad). I am interested in finding out more and if Mal signs the contract (probably)!
