I love all of Ali Hazelwood's adult books and judging from this first impressions, I'm going to be as big of a fan of her first YA! I mean, she had me at the reference to Bill Nye fanfic.
Hazelwood always manages to make "Smart the new sexy" (as the podcast host says in this prologue) and Mallory and Nolan's chess rivalry is the enemies-to-lovers premise I didn't know I needed. I can 't wait to read the rest of it!
