This book definitely had quite the first impression. From the first line it had me intrigued, with an interesting prologue, and the book makes the world of chess seem really interesting. I like the voice of the main character, who feels very relatable and the cast of characters around her. Feels like a book I could lose myself in when I just need something fun and a little romantic to read.
