I enjoyed this first impression and loved that a girl is featured as a smart chess player who can beat the best. I felt so bad for Mallory and all the adult responsibility she has taken on to help her mom. I want her to take this fellowship and use her talents while earning money and preparing for a better future for herself. I can't wait to read and review this novel.
