I love that the book is set in the world of today. It was super interesting to read from that perspective. I think this will be a cute rom-com. It did come off as a little over the top for me... a little too much effort to sound like YA, but I feel like the writing will improve as the book progresses. I'd definitely read more to see how this romance unfolds, but I would want to see the writing evolve. I can definitely see this appealing to YA contemporary readers and adult romance readers looking for a less intense romantic tale. The cover is super cute.
