This was a really cute First Look and a nice addition to the YA romance genre. I just finished Queen’s Gambit on Netflix so the chess-focused plot definitely reeled me in 😂. While I’m a bit bummed this is YA (compared to Hazelwood’s adult counterparts), I still think it’ll be a fun read overall. I loved the cover and her writing is always well done.
