This book is more than a chess game but it may be just as intriguing. Is Mal going to be back in the game, will she be able to prove to herself and to the world that it's time for her to get doing what she loves the most? Mallory is taking care of her two sisters, her mom, and walking away from the game of chess (maybe the reason is that her dad who was cheering her on is no longer in the picture.) The teaser isn't enough, and is leaving me with a lot of questions. I'd continue to read it if only to answer those questions. This book is definitely a love story waiting to happen but I think the reader will find out that it is a lot more than romance that awaits the protagonist.
