Compulsively readable, and utterly unrealistic setup

Compulsively readable, and utterly unrealistic setup. Really strong character voices but at times it veers into being too over the top. I can see why people either really love or really dislike this author's writing (this is my first time reading her). Am I having a good time reading? Yes. Did the first look pages fly by? Absolutely.
