Mallory seems like such a mess, in all the best ways. Her friendship with Easton is so fun, and her relationship with her sisters is incredibly realistic. I'm already invested in Mallory's backstory. What happened with her dad and why did she quit playing chess? The romance is definitely going to be a slow-burn. I'm hoping to hear good chess puns! The cover is a little basic, but I still like it. I like the way it looks like the wind is blowing everything around. I can't wait to read this book!
