I am totally and absolutely in love with anything that Ali Hazelwood writes, she has me in a chokehold! The covers for her novels are always amazingly adorable! The Check & Mate cover is super cute, I love the chess board floor and the chess pieces and hearts all around. I also appreciate the normal sizing and waist for the drawing of the girl/main character, it may be overlooked from some, but it is important to others. I also see that there is a quote from Alex Aster, " The perfect enemies to lovers romance." If it wasn't written by Ali, then I would read just for the enemies to lovers!
