This seems like such a cute romance! I already love Mallory and I feel for her. I hope she’s able to find her love for chess again and not have to feel so guilty for her family. I’m also dying to know why she thinks it’s her fault their family is the way it is now, and what happened to her dad?! I’m excited to see the romance between her and Nolan!! I’m a big fan of slow burns so this is right up my alley. I’m used to reading fantasy and mystery but I’ve been trying to branch out into more genres and this seems like a great start!
